CHB’s newest Mortgage and Insurance Adviser, Janine Ewen, is passionate about people achieving their financial goals.
Janine is a familiar face around Waipukurau and comes from a background of more than 30 years in financial services. She has worked in a number of the major banks in Waipukurau and has recently insured that knowledge by becoming a qualified Financial Adviser.
Cole Murray has offices throughout Hawke’s Bay and are pleased to have Janine providing connection and support in Waipukurau.
Jeremy Cole, Director of Cole Murray, says “It means the wider Central Hawke’s Bay community can come and get their mortgage sorted, face-to-face.”
Janine’s financial and lending experience provides her the insider knowledge needed when pitching a mortgage proposal to the banks. Her service also extends to people with existing mortgages looking to refix their interest rates or refinance, insurance advice and KiwiSaver signups.
“The majority of local banks have recently closed their doors leaving their clients frustrated with the lack of personal contact. I have an office located in Waipukurau and I’m passionate about helping people achieve their home ownership and financial goals” says Janine.
Janine recognises that “borrowing money is more stressful and challenging than ever.” With banks tightening their lending criteria, plus rising interest rates and an unpredictable market, “people really need someone in their corner,” says Janine.
“Mortgage Advisers guide their clients through the process from beginning to end. Completing the paperwork, researching the market and obtaining the best solution for the client. The support we give can make a difference.”
“Plus, a mortgage adviser’s service is free to the customer, as we are remunerated by the banks. It makes sense to get that extra helping hand, as it comes at no cost to you.”
